About the Role
Medical City Healthcare seeks a Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams in a fast-paced Healthcare & Medical Services environment. You will prepare operating rooms, arrange and verify sterilization of instruments, and ensure accurate surgical counts. During procedures, you’ll anticipate surgeon needs, handle instruments, and maintain strict aseptic technique to protect patient safety. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and anesthesia staff, assist with specimen handling, and participate in room turnover. Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterilize instruments
- Maintain aseptic technique and assist during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team and assist with specimen handling
Qualifications
- Completion of surgical technologist program or equivalent
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
