About the Role

Hartford Healthcare seeks a Surgical Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider to manage high-acuity surgical and trauma patients in our ICU. In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement evidence-based care plans, perform procedures within scope, and collaborate closely with surgeons, intensivists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll use cutting-edge technology, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and educate patients, families, and staff. Responsibilities

  • Manage high-acuity surgical and trauma patients in ICU

Qualifications

  • Current APRN/PA with surgical critical care experience
  • Board certified in acute care surgery or critical care (if applicable)
  • BLS/ACLS proficiency
