Serves as the primary liaison between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department, coordinating instrument availability, tray processing, inventory, and workflow communication. Supports sterilization testing, compliance with processing standards, instrument tracking, and timely resolution of supply and equipment issues to promote safe, efficient patient care.
Responsibilities
Coordinate instrument availability and tray processing between OR and Sterile Processing Department
Monitor instrument tracking and inventory
Support sterilization testing and compliance with processing standards
Qualifications
Experience in sterile processing or hospital supply chain preferred
Knowledge of sterilization standards (e.g., AAMI/ISO) and instrument handling
