About the Role

Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this inpatient rehabilitation role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to create patient-centered treatment plans, provide family education, and document progress. Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create treatment plans
  • Document progress and educate family

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in state where required
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
