The Senior Claim Specialist is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving moderately complex claims within established guidelines and authority levels. The role ensures timely, fair, and cost-effective claims handling while maintaining regulatory compliance and delivering superior customer service.

Handle a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution. • Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering statements, reviewing policy coverage, and analyzing relevant documentation. • Evaluate exposure and potential liability based on policy language and facts. • Maintain accurate documentation, claim notes, and reports in compliance with internal standards. • Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors as necessary. • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, internal policies, and service-level agreements. • Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ​​• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred. • 5-7 years of relevant claims handling experience with demonstrated knowledge of property and casualty insurance principles. • Experience working with claims management systems and standard office software.​ CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS ​​• Appropriate state adjuster license(s) required or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe. • Industry certifications such as Associate in Claims (AIC) or CPCU coursework are preferred but not mandatory.​ • Claims investigation and evaluation skills. • Knowledge of insurance policy interpretation and coverage analysis. • Ability to manage multiple claims and meet deadlines. • Proficient in claims systems and Microsoft Office Suite. • Customer service orientation with attention to detail.​ General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of CRC Group:
