About the Role
Cargill seeks a Master Mechanic to keep critical manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll perform expert diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems supporting global food production. You’ll troubleshoot complex breakdowns, interpret blueprints and technical manuals, and document work in a CMMS. Collaborating with operations and engineering, you’ll improve reliability, support safety initiatives, and mentor junior technicians in a culture focused on integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and preventive maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot complex breakdowns and interpret blueprints/technical manuals
- Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with operations/engineering
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints/technical manuals
