About the Role

Invitation Homes is seeking a Residential Maintenance Technician to support quality, well-maintained single-family rental homes. In this role, you will perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. You’ll complete work orders, conduct home inspections, and ensure resident issues are resolved quickly and professionally. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, safe work practices, accurate documentation, and effective communication with residents, vendors, and team members to uphold our high standards of service and community appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
  • Complete work orders and conduct home inspections.
  • Document issues and communicate with residents and team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential maintenance or handyman work preferred.
  • Knowledge of plumbing/electrical/HVAC basics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and safety practices
