Registered Nurse Surgery at HCA Healthcare

About the Role

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgery team. In this role, you will provide safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Responsibilities include patient assessment, preparing and circulating in the OR, supporting anesthesia and surgical teams, managing instruments and supplies, and monitoring patients post-op. You will collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary staff, educate patients and families, maintain accurate documentation, uphold infection control and safety standards, and contribute to quality improvement in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery
Assist with patient assessment and post-op monitoring
Maintain documentation and infection control

Qualifications

Current RN license
BLS/ACLS
Experience in perioperative nursing preferred
