About the Role
Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit is seeking a PRN Pre-OP/PACU RN to join their Perianesthesia team. In this position, you will provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing procedures within the Main OR and hospital-based GI suites.
Shift Details:
FT- Days. This position takes call and has a 30 minute call response time requirement.
This is a tight knit collaborative team that supports each other and are willing to go above and beyond for their peers, our patients and their families. They are a customer focused team where patient experience is a top priority.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)

- Utilizesthe nursing process
- Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
- Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
