About the Role
Novant Health is seeking a skilled Preop/PACU Float RN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive pre- and post-anesthesia nursing care to surgical patients across multiple units, using evidence-based practices and advanced technology. You will conduct assessments, administer medications, monitor recovery, educate patients and families, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, personalized care. Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-anesthesia nursing care across units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient care
- Educate patients and families about care and recovery
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS/ACLS as per policy
- 3+ years OR PACU/Preop nursing experience
