About the Role

Encompass Health, a national leader in post-acute inpatient rehabilitation, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support our expert therapy team. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with patients recovering from major illnesses and injuries, guiding therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and use of rehab equipment. You’ll document progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on physical therapy support to inpatients.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant credential (PTA)
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
