About the Role
HCA Healthcare is seeking a Surgery Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. In this role, you will provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. Responsibilities include patient assessments, developing and implementing care plans, circulating and/or scrubbing during procedures, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs, maintain sterile technique, document care accurately, and educate patients and families. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative stages
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain sterile technique and document care accurately
Qualifications
- RN licensure
- BLS/ACLS
- Perioperative Nursing certification preferred
