The region features Gulf Coast beaches at Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, natural landmarks such as Dismals Canyon and Alabama's Natural Bridge, and historical destinations including the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park and the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, and wildlife experiences are available throughout the area, with most coastal attractions accessible year-round.About the Clinician's WorkdayThe interventional/diagnostic radiologist will provide inpatient and clinic-based diagnostic radiology coverage via telehealth, with shifts scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and coverage of up to 1-2 weeks per month. Clinical responsibilities include interpreting CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound body imaging studies as part of a team that includes several radiologist colleagues; direct engagement with residents is not a component of this assignment. The estimated weekly volume includes approximately 24.2 CT studies, 5.2 MR studies, 17.2 ultrasound studies, and 2.3 fluoroscopy studies.
