Role Overview
•Multidisciplinary, collaborative, academic environment
•Focus areas: Quality improvement, Operational efficiency, Expert patient care
Key Responsibilities:
•Improve patient outcomes and safety
•Optimize patient flow and hospitalization efficiency
•Implement new systems and care processes
•Establish standardized practices in acute oncology care
Direct Care Model:
•Provide direct inpatient oncology care
•Work with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, APPs, nursing, pharmacy)
•Support care coordination and discharge planning
•Integrate quality and operational initiatives into daily practice
Academic & Professional Development
•Appointment at Harvard Medical School (Instructor or Assistant Professor, depending on experience)
•Initial and ongoing on-the-job training, mentoring, and CME activities
Qualifications:
•M.D. or D.O.
•ABIM board-certified/eligible (IM or Hem/Onc)
•U.S. work authorization required
•H-1b sponsorship available
•J-1 sponsorship unavailable at this time
Responsibilities

- Support discharge planning
Qualifications

- Board certification in internal medicine or hematology-oncology
