Morehouse School of Medicine is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join an academic ambulatory practice at a local Atlanta hospital.

Primarily Outpatient Internal Medicine

This position  focuses  primarily on ambulatory/outpatient Internal Medicine, with most clinical time dedicated to outpatient care. The role offers an excellent opportunity to provide longitudinal patient care while teaching and mentoring Internal Medicine residents and medical students.

Physicians interested in maintaining inpatient experience may also have opportunities for periodic inpatient Internal Medicine care, based on clinical interest, experience, and program needs. The position primarily focuses on ambulatory care.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Board certified in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure and Morehouse faculty appointment
• Experience in ambulatory Internal Medicine
• Experience teaching and supervising residents and/or medical students
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
