About the Role

Encompass Health seeks a compassionate Speech Pathologist to deliver specialized speech-language and swallowing services in our inpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and dysphagia disorders, developing evidence-based, individualized care plans. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient-centric recovery, educate families, and document outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and dysphagia disorders in inpatient rehab.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State licensure as SLP
  • ASHA certification preferred
