About the Role
Smurfit Westrock seeks a Maintenance Technician II to keep manufacturing equipment and facilities operating safely and reliably. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, corrugators, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and packaging lines. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, reading schematics, performing equipment changeovers, and documenting work in a CMMS. You’ll collaborate with production to minimize downtime, follow strict safety and environmental procedures, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced, sustainability-focused plant.
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment and facilities to run safely and reliably
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
- Document work in CMMS
Qualifications
- Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ability to read schematics and perform equipment changeovers
- Safety/environmental procedures knowledge
