About the Role
We need hands-on care to take care of my husband in Lancaster. Responsibilities include warming his food and making sure he eats it ok. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. He had a massive brain bleed/stroke and is in recovery. He needs to be monitored when walking. The stroke brought his dimentia on fully so he doesnt make sense sometimes and can walk into walls, get aggravated, etc.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care and supervision for a husband recovering from stroke/dimentia in Lancaster
- Monitor safety during walking and assist with feeding
- Companionship and basic personal care
Qualifications
- CPR/first-aid trained
