About the Role
Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to seniors in skilled nursing and long-term care settings. In this patient-centered role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to maximize function, independence, and quality of life. You will educate patients, families, and caregivers, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in care conferences. Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services in geriatric SNF/long-term care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans
- Educate patients and families about therapy and prognosis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
- ASHA certified (CCC-SLP) preferred
