About the Role
Methodist Health System seeks a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality general and vascular sonographic exams for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, following physician protocols, optimizing images, and documenting findings in PACS/RIS. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and providers to support timely diagnosis, patient education, and compassionate care. Maintain equipment, ensure infection control, and follow safety standards while supporting the mission-driven, faith-based, team-oriented culture of Methodist Health System in Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound exams (general and vascular)
- Prepare and position patients; follow protocols; optimize images; document findings in PACS/RIS
Qualifications
- Diagnostic medical sonography credential
- Experience in vascular and general ultrasound preferred
- Certification in Sonography (RDMS) preferred
