Emergency Department Registered Nurse
About the Role
Kaiser Permanente seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced ED within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this on-site role, you’ll perform rapid triage, stabilization, and ongoing management for diverse patient populations, collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include medication administration, EKG interpretation, IV therapy, trauma response, and accurate EHR documentation while maintaining strict safety and infection-control standards. Candidates should bring 3+ years of acute ED experience, a BSN (preferred), active RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform rapid triage, stabilization, and ongoing management in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver care.
- Administer medications and interpret EKGs while ensuring safety and infection control.
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- 3+ years of acute ED experience
- BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC/ELPN certifications
