About the Role
Encompass Health Corporation, renowned for offering comprehensive facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with occupational therapists to implement therapeutic programs and monitor progress for patients in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies. You will assist patients in developing, recovering, improving, and maintaining the skills needed for daily living and working, following specific treatment plans under the supervision of occupational therapists.
Responsibilities
- Implement therapeutic programs under supervision of an OT
- Monitor patient progress in inpatient rehab settings
- Assist patients in developing daily living skills
Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- OT supervision
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience
