Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position involves working both in our high-quality inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and providing care in patient home settings through our comprehensive home health network. The ideal candidate will assist in providing therapeutic interventions and treatments as directed by a registered occupational therapist, helping patients achieve their maximum level of independence and recovery.
Responsibilities
Assist in delivering therapeutic interventions under supervision
Support rehabilitation goals and activities with patients in inpatient and home health settings
Collaborate with occupational therapy team to promote independence
Qualifications
Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Current OT/rating as required by state licensure
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or home health preferred
