A credentialing period of 90 days is required prior to the start of clinical duties. On-site resources and established clinical infrastructure are in place to support coordinated care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. About the Facility Location Tennessee offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions spanning museums, live music, outdoor recreation, and cultural events. The state features diverse natural landscapes, outdoor destinations, and educational institutions across its many regions. Clinicians may also explore community events, art festivals, and local markets held throughout the year in both urban centers and smaller towns. About the Clinician's Workday The Physician Associate will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient, operating room, and emergency room settings on a day shift and 24-hour shift basis. Scheduled clinical hours run Monday through Friday with a 7:00-8:00 AM arrival, continuing until the caseload is complete, with workload volume determining early or late departure. Administrative responsibilities are minimal, limited to communication, select phone calls, and medication management as needed. Call coverage is required on a rotating basis every third week and weekend, with clinicians taking first call except for transfer center responsibilities.
