About the Role

MedStar Health seeks a Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist to support advanced cardiac procedures in a patient-first, mission-driven environment. In this role, you’ll perform and assist with interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab imaging, operate fluoroscopy and related equipment, and ensure radiation and patient safety. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, maintain sterile technique, and document procedures accurately. Responsibilities

  • Perform and assist with interventional radiology and cardiac cath lab imaging
  • Operate fluoroscopy and related equipment
  • Ensure radiation and patient safety

Qualifications

  • Certification as Radiologic Technologist/Interventional Radiology technologist
  • Experience in cardiac catheterization lab preferred
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and documentation standards
